This collection features my favourite original paintings, environmental concepts, fan art and select client commissions. In recent years, the world of Sky by ThatGameCompany has been a rich source of inspiration for much of my work - paintings that serve as colourful love letters to a game I deeply adore.

THE PERSISTENT JOURNEY

Hi, I'm MirrorGlass or MG for short. Firstly, thank you for taking the time to browse my art gallery. I hope you've enjoyed this brief exhibit of some of my best work. (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)In my childhood, I was always fascinated with books. Children's books in particular often contained pages and pages of pretty illustrations, and I found myself wishing to be able to do something like that. I took baby steps with the pencil, and then onto the paintbrush, gradually building on my hobby to learn as much as I could. (૭ ｡•̀ ᵕ •́｡ )૭Between 2017 and 2019, I started to gain some traction online, and the support I received inspired me to push forward with my journey as a digital creator. With that same community support, I managed to become an affiliate on Twitch in 2021 and won a Daily Deviation feature on DeviantArt. As an introvert, it is scary putting myself out there (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) But I try my hardest, and I'm really grateful for everyone.

I built up my portfolio in those years and decided to pursue higher education, graduating from 3Dsense Media School in 2024. I went on to design promotional material for the University of Melbourne's saxophone ensemble on multiple occasions, two of which are displayed in the above Gallery on this portfolio site as some of my favourite works. In 2025, as part of the Sky Creator Awards hosted by ThatGameCompany, I received two nominations for the Best Illustration and Sky Community Award (player vote) categories. My art was showcased in-game within a venue called the Sky Cinema, as part of a looping 24 hour video playback to the thousands of players who sat in the audience - an incredible honor and unforgettable experience. ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡ I had made so much fanart since 2019 and it felt like a dream to receive this kind of recognition for my work!

Art is a profession as much as it is a form of expression and I am always seeking to improve in my craft. These days I gravitate towards semi-realistic fantasy, but I'm comfortable adapting to a different art style when it comes to commission or client work. Otherwise, I often catch myself experimenting to try something new ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧These days I'm learning blender and brushing up on Maya. Stay tuned, thanks for reading!
